1. Mission

  • (i) The Corporation aims at a worldful of satisfied customers through profitable manufacture and trade in textiles.
  • (ii) The logo of the Corporation, with a palm tree supported by two elephants stands for steady growth through committed work. The palm tree symbolises steady growth, always growing in an upward direction, unaffected by adverse forces. The two elephants symbolise the strength of human labour, committed to the goals of the organisation.
  • (iii) Anglo French Textiles is the brand name of the Corporation.
  • (iv) The Corporation is a single family wherein everybody will wear uniform - " Hierarchy for control and Equality for contribution."

2. Human Resource Development

  • (i) The Corporation will follow the spirit of 'nobody is useless, he is used less; nobody is careless, he is cared less; All efforts will be made for human resource development from within.
  • (ii) In-house training, open learning and self improvement will be encouraged by the Corporation.

3. Industrial Safety

  • (i) Consciousness of safety will pervade all areas of work. Safety of people from pollution of air, water, noise, fire and accidents shall be ensured.
  • (ii) Health care and counselling (Abhaya) will be available to all the employees.

4. Participative Management

  • (i) The Corporation will aim at self-regulation and self-discipline and industrial peace through participative management. There shall not be any scope for groupism, work stoppages or unhealthy work practices among the employees as well as management.
  • (ii) The Corporation believes in direct communication with the employees. Management will be accessible to all workers at regular intervals for direct personal contact.
  • (iii) Quality circles will meet regularly. (iv) The Management Council consisting of Managers and workers selected by the management on the objective criterion of seniority will meet at regular intervals. It will be a representative forum for workers' participation in management.

5. Employees' Welfare

Welfare of employees will be a concern of the employees as well as management. Quality of work life will be continuously watched.

6. Quality and Standards

  • (i) "Anglo French is dedicated to a system of quality management which will ensure that its products and services meet the requirements of its customers at all times. - "DO IT RIGHT AND KEEP IT RIGHT"

8. Environmental Management Policy

Anglo French Textiles will follow an Environmental Management System which will ensure:

  • Compliance with environmental laws and regulations;
  • Commitment to improve quality of air, water, noise andenvironment; and
  • continual improvement to meet global standards.

9. Social Commitment

In addition to being an ideal corporate citizen, the Corporation will contribute constructively towards conservation of environment, development of education and training and promote research and development, in association with professional and educational institutions.

10. Audit

In addition to statutory and internal audits of its finances, safety, management, etc, the Corporation will also have periodic social audit.
